1. What is covered, and for how long

1.1 We warrant that the work we perform will be free from defects in workmanship for one year after the date the work is completed.

1.2 We warrant that materials and parts we furnish will be free from defects for one year after completion, or for the length of the manufacturer's warranty if that period is shorter. Section 3 explains how manufacturer warranties work.

1.3 If we correct or replace work under this warranty, a new one year period applies to the corrected or replaced work.

2. What we will do

2.1 If you report a covered defect during the warranty period, we will repair or replace the defective work at no charge to you. We choose whether to repair or to replace.

2.2 Report a warranty item through the app, the customer portal, or the contact information in our Terms of Service. We will schedule a visit within 10 business days, and sooner if the condition presents a risk to health, safety, or property.

2.3 Warranty work is performed during normal business hours unless the condition requires immediate attention.

3. Manufacturer warranties

3.1 Products, parts, appliances, and equipment carry only the warranty the manufacturer provides. We pass those warranties through to you where we can, and we do not extend or enlarge them.

3.2 Where a manufacturer warranty covers a part but not the labor to install a replacement, this warranty covers that labor for one year after completion.

4. What is not covered

4.1 This warranty does not cover (a) materials, parts, or fixtures you supplied, or any failure caused by them; (b) normal wear, fading, settling, shrinkage, and cosmetic changes that do not affect function; (c) damage from misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, or failure to perform routine maintenance; (d) work performed or modified by anyone other than us after we completed our work; (e) damage from a cause outside the work, including water intrusion from another source, pest damage, structural movement, power surge, and extreme weather; (f) pre-existing conditions, and conditions we identified and told you about in writing; (g) work we recommended that you declined; (h) consequential loss, including damage to other property, loss of use, and lost income, except as our Terms of Service provides; and (i) work performed by a company we referred you to under Section 11 of our Terms of Service, which that company warrants under its own terms.

5. Conditions

5.1 This warranty runs to the customer on the account at the property where the work was performed. It is not transferable unless we agree in writing.

5.2 You must give us reasonable access to inspect the condition and to correct it. If you have someone else correct it before telling us, this warranty does not cover it.

5.3 Your account must be current. We will perform warranty work while your account is in good standing. If your account is past due, we may postpone warranty work until it is brought current, except where the condition presents a risk to health, safety, or property, in which case we will address it and take up the balance separately.

6. Your other rights

6.1 This warranty gives you specific rights. You may also have rights under Arizona law that cannot be waived, and nothing in this warranty limits them.

6.2 This warranty is part of our Terms of Service. Except for this warranty and any other warranty we state in writing, the disclaimers in Section 18 of the Terms of Service apply.
